Provision of daycare will:

1. Attract potential recruits to apply for a vacancy and accept a job, if offered.
2. Encourage staff in whom you have a lot of money invested to remain with you or return after maternity leave.

Just how much your company will save in these areas, only you can assess. It may be that you don't feel you have a great enough demand with your own staff to provide this facility alone. What about the possibility of "sharing" it with another neighbouring company, thereby reducing the cost to both parties.
