Healthy Meals, Happy Children

Freshly prepared food, national nutrition guidelines and rigorous hygiene practices you can trust.

5 Star Hygiene Rating

We are extremely proud to hold a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating, the highest award issued by the Food Standards Agency. This reflects our exceptional standards in cleanliness, food preparation, safe storage and daily kitchen procedures. Our kitchen is rigorously monitored, carefully maintained and audited regularly to ensure children receive food that is prepared in an environment meeting the very highest levels of safety and care.

Following National Nutrition Standards

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage nutrition guidance, including the updated May 2025 standards, ensuring every meal meets national recommendations for balance, portion size and health. Our menus reflect the latest evidence on early childhood nutrition, supporting children’s physical development, wellbeing and lifelong healthy habits. We continually review our meals to remain fully compliant and aligned with best practice.

Allergy Awareness

We recognise that food allergies and intolerances are a serious concern, and we take them seriously. We work closely with families to understand each child’s needs, keeping allergy information accurate and updated through communication with parents. Our team receives specific allergy awareness training, with additional staff holding food hygiene Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications, ensuring meals are prepared, handled and served safely.

Seasonal Menus

Our menus are thoughtfully designed and refreshed every 6 months, following the seasons from spring and summer to autumn and winter. This gives children regular opportunities to explore new foods, flavours and textures, supports healthy eating habits, and keeps mealtimes engaging, balanced and closely connected to the changing seasons and children’s developing preferences and confidence.
