Our curriculum is intentionally sequenced so that learning builds gradually and meaningfully as children grow. With babies and very young children we focus closely on the prime areas of the EYFS which include communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. As children move into toddlerhood and preschool, the specific areas of learning such as literacy, mathematics and understanding the world are more directly introduced through rich, real world experiences that feel purposeful and engaging.
We have clear targets for each age group which outline what children will explore, practise and progress towards. These targets guide our planning and ensure every child’s next steps are carefully supported. To learn more about the curriculum aims within each room, please speak to a member of staff who will be happy to share further details.
We recognise that progression is flexible and responsive rather than fixed. Every child’s learning journey is personalised to their developmental stage, interests and strengths to ensure progress that is both meaningful and secure. Our staff are highly trained in SEND and inclusive practice, ensuring all children receive the support, adaptations and encouragement they need to thrive.
